The U.S. has become more aware of the needs of people with physical disabilities over the years. Recognizing that standard furniture dimensions and clearances typically do not accomodate ADA needs, BCI has developed a circulation desk system that features electronically or manually height adjustable work surfaces. The Concertina desk offers several modular configurations and three depths to accommodate various functions.
In addition, the Concertina desk can be modified/customized to meet the requirements of your library. It is advised that if the intention is to choose this option that you work with a BCI design consultant to eliminate any chance of design error.
