I had been recently advised that BCI’s Opal Shelving System and Opal Computer Carrels & Study Tables could be found at the Martin Luther King Library in Atlanta.  In addition to MLK, BCI library furniture can be found in Georgia at the Charles L. Drew Charter School (Atlanta Public Schools) and the Columbus Library (Chattahoochee Valley Regional Library System).

Opal Shelving Installed At New Vestfold University Library In Norway

Location:  Norway

Vestfold University College has a newly build two-storey library with a total area of 2,400 sqm. The glass face on the eastern side of the building adds daylight and a stunning atmosphere inside the building.

The library furniture consists of Opal Shelving System, colour Charcoal RAL 7015 with Book Big lighting. End panels and canopy are made from wood type ash.

The new library has 4 floors, each floor with it’s own distinctive atmosphere and area of specialization.  The library has been broken up into different “islands” – themes – as a way to present their various collections (fiction, non-fiction, reference, etc.
